ALBANY — An Albany man was indicted Wednesday on charges he killed a fetus during a domestic violence incident in January, court records show.

Kenneth Johnson, 25, of Albany was arrested Jan. 22 after police said that he beat Tarneicia Calloway at an apartment off Nottingham Way, court records show.

On Wednesday, Johnson was indicted by a grand jury for aggravated assault, aggravated battery and feticide. According to the indictment, prosecutors believe that on Jan. 22, he got in a fight with Calloway, who was pregnant, resulting in the death of the fetus.
