William James Strandberg

ALBANY — The memorial service for William James Strandberg, 51, of Albany, who died Saturday, April 5, 2008, will be conducted Tuesday at 3:00 P.M. at Mathews Funeral Home. The Rev. John Spencer will officiate.

A native of Springfield, IL, Mr. Strandberg moved to Albany in 1971 from Fort Worth, TX. He graduated from Dougherty High School in 1975 and was a graduate of Albany Junior College in 1977. He was an avid bowler being active in several bowling leagues and worked in the produce department for Winn Dixie.

Survivors include a brother, Richard Strandberg, Sr. and his wife Connie of Albany; a sister Michelle Lindauer and her husband Ralph of Tell City, IN; two nieces, Ashlyn Strandberg of Albany and Kayla Marie Lindauer of Tell City, IN; and one nephew, Richard Strandberg, Jr. of Albany.

The family is at their residence on 414 Persimmon Dr., Albany, GA 31705.
