Baptist Church in Warwick with
interment at the church
cemetery. Rev. Joseph Adkins will
officiate. Mr. Bivens was educated
in Worth Co. public school
system & graduated in 1972. He was
employed as a carpenter at
Craftmade Manufacturing Co. and
was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include 4 sons-
Jeffery Burrows, Toddrick Burrows,
Ahmad Lewis, Algernon Parsons;
4 sisters-Ruby Davis, Paulette
Coker, Joan Bivens, & Sandra
Kae Douglas; 2 Brothers; Harold
Bivens & Ricky Bivens; 2
grandchildren.

Bethesda Baptist Church with

Mrs. Dawson was born August
23, 1914 in Dougherty Co. She
was a member of Second
Bethesda Baptist Church and was
on the Usher Board.
Survivors include five
daughters; Elizabeth (Rev. Paul)
Jones, Flo (Richard) Chapman
and Della Dawson, Albany, Rosa
(Willie C.) Haines, Newton and
Rebecca (Robert) Minter,
Ossining, NY; two sons, Herbert
(Pinkie) Rambo and Edward
Dawson, Albany; 32 grandchildren,
73 great grandchildren, 14 great
great grandchildren; two sisters-
in-law, Christine Woods and
Mable Woods; several nieces,
nephews and friends. Visitation
will be 5-5:30 Friday at the
funeral home.

Sylvester, a brother Robert Bolton &
his wife Hazel of Leesburg, 7
grandchildren & 3 great-
grandchildren.
Mr. Giddens was a retired farmer,
a former long time member of the
Worth County Farm Bureau
Board of Directors, a Veteran of
the Army in WWII & a member
of Red Oak Baptist Church,
Deacon & the Director of Mens
Ministry.

2008 at his residence. Funeral
services will be held at 2 P.M. on
Saturday, April 12, 2008 at
Bronwood, First Baptist Church,
Bronwood. Rev. Marvin Brown will
officiate. Interment will follow in
the Bronwood City Cemetery.
Bro. Willie Richardson was
born July 6, 1934 in Terrell Co.
to the late George and Selena
Motley Richardson.
He settled the question as to
where he would spend eternity at
Countyline Missionary Baptist
Church, Sasser. His education
was received in the public
schools of Terrell Co.
Bro. Willies example of
Family was when he married Louise
Scott on December 22, 1956.
On April 5, 2008, Bro. Willie
Richardson was received by his
Heavenly Father. In addition to
his parents, he was preceded in
death by two daughters, Barbara
Ann Richardson and Lisa
Annette Richardson.
His gifts of love and precious
memories will be cherished by
his wife of 51 years, Louise
Richardson of Bronwood; eight
daughters, Dora Flemings and
Emma Jean Porter, both of
Dawson, Dorothy Ann Walker and
Mary Lousie Mobley (Robert),
both of Bronwood, Deborah Ann
Buchanan (Bobby) of Lumpkin,

nephew who was like a son,

worked as a correction officer in
the Georgia State Prison System
and he was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs.
France Whitaker Whitfield of
Albany, three step sons, Joe
Anderson of Albany, Kenneth
Anderson and wife Pamela of
Stockbridge, and Tony Anderson
of Valdosta, two step daughters,
Bridgett Whitaker of Stockbridge,
and Michelle Whitaker of Albany,
his mother, Mrs. Eleanor Jones
of Kinston, N.C. and six
grandchildren.
The remains of Mr. Whitfield
will be at the church on Saturday
Evening from 2 PM until the
funeral.
