Ester Norman Barfield

CAIRO — Ester Norman Barfield passed away at Camellia Gardens of Life Care in Thomasville, GA, on Tuesday, April 8, 2008.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home. The Rev. Mike Nichols will Officiate. A private interment will be held at Greenwood Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Michael Fabro, Vincent Fabro, Shawn Barfield, Nick Barfield, Justin Mitchell and Raymond Turner.

Mrs. Barfield was born in Decatur County, GA, to the late Joel Norman and Maggie Smith Norman. She was married to Jack Barfield who preceded her in death on January 18, 1981.

Survivors include four children, Margie Barfield Fabro of Gretna, LA, Gary Jackson Barfield of Leesburg, Rodger Wayne Barfield of Little Rock, AR, and Richard Keith Barfield of Cairo. She is also survived by Kerri Bowles Barfield, wife of Richard; 10 grandchildren, Michael Fabro, Vincent Fabro, Sr., Kim Etheridge, Shane Barfield, Nick Barfield, Shawn Barfield, Ian Barfield, Krysten Bowles, Dana Barfield and Lorin Barfield. She is survived by eight great-grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Fabro, Cole Fabro, Alex Fabro, Vincent Fabro, Jr., Haley Etheridge, Emily Etheridge, Ashley Etheridge, and Cole Barfield.

PELHAM — Mamie “TOT” N. Cone, 90, of Pelham, GA, died Thursday, April 10, 2008 at the Pelham Parkway Nursing Home.
