her home. The funeral will be at
2p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2008
at Colquitt First Baptist Church.
A private family committal service
to follow at Pine Grove Cemetery
in Decatur Co. Dr. Carl Marshall
will officiate. Active pallbearers
include: Al Boyd, Ricky Brents,
Fred Brents, Troy Alderman,
Cary Alderman and Brent
Alderman. Honorary pallbearers
will be the members of the Fidelis
Sunday School Class.
Mrs. Boyd was retired from the
Colquitt City Hall and was a
former member of the American
Cancer Society. She was a
faithful member of the Colquitt
First Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son,
Christopher Brett Boyd and his
wife Barbara of West Palm
Beach, FL., one granddaughter,
Catherine Patricia Boyd of West
Palm Beach, FL, one brother,
William S. Alderman of Blakely,
GA, one sister, Janette Gentry of
Jackson, TN and a large number
of nieces and nephews.
Visitation is today
(Wednesday, April 16, 2008) from 7p.m.
till 9p.m. at the funeral home. In

Memorial Hospital. Funeral services
will be 11 a.m. today
(Wednesday, April 16, 2008) at the
Cuthbert First Presbyterian Church.
The Rev. Gary Cowan will
officiate with interment to follow in the
East View Cemetery.
Mrs. Brazeal was born May 22,
1923 in Calhoun County,
daughter of the late Cylde Edwin
Lawson and Ruth Drinkwater
Lawson. She was a retired
production clerk for the Kellwood
Company. Mrs. Brazeal was an
active member of the Cuthbert
First Presbyterian Church, where
she taught Sunday School. She
was also the former president of
the Women of the Church, and
served on the Board of Sessions
and Board of Trustees. She was
the widow of Ellis Herman
Brazeal Sr. and was preceded in
death by two sisters, Mae Belle
Durham and Rebecca Beck
Lawson.
Survivors include three sons;
Ellis Buddy H. Brazeal, Jr. and
his wife Ann of Hahira, James
Jim Edwin Brazeal and wife
Sharon of Cuthbert and William
Gerald Jerry Brazeal of
Cuthbert, and a brother, Clyde Edwin
Lawson, Jr. and wife Barbara of
Billings, MT, four grandchildren,
Laura Odell, Meredith Moon, Lisa
Brazeal and James Edwin
Brazeal III, and three great-
children.

April 10, 2008 at her residence.

2008 at Beulahland Missionary
Baptist Church. The Rev. Willie
Ross will officiate, Interment to
follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Sis. Countryman was born in
Terrell County, GA on June 15,
1939 to the late Preston, Sr. and
Annie Will Fulse.
At an early age, Mamie joined
Beulahland Missionary Baptist
Church and served faithfully until
her health failed.
She attended the public
schools of Terrell Co. and was
employed at Stevens Industries
and Lilliston Implement for many
years.
Mamie was united in Holy
Matrimony and preceded in death to
the late Deacon David Eugene
Countryman, Sr. Two children
were born to this union.
In addition to her husband and
parents she was also preceded
in death by five siblings; Dorothy
Fulse, Anna Dority, Mary
Sherman, Preston Fulse, Jr. and
Annie Temple.

Willie) of Dawson, three sons;
