Bowens Mill Community, died
Thursday, April 17, 2008, at her
residence.
Funeral services will be held
10 A.M., Tuesday at the funeral
home with interment at 3 P.M.,

Cox, 73, of Pelham died Monday,
April 21, 2008 at his residence.

Decatur Co. Rev. Lindsay Gay
and Rev. Neal Hager will

Born August 22, 1934 in
Mitchell Co., Mr. Cox was the son
of the late Willie Floyd and Stella
Singleton Cox. He was a retired
farmer and worked for Mitchell
Co. Farm Service. Mr. Cox was
a member of Oak Grove
Christian Church. He was
preceded in death by a
granddaughter, Mandi Lyon and
a brother, George Cox.
Survivors include his wife,
Faye Avery Cox of Pelham; one
daughter, Barbara Cox Green
and husband, Steve of Leesburg;
two sons, Kenneth L. Cox and
wife, Linda, of Pelham and
Charles T. Cox and wife, Kaye,
of Bainbridge; four brothers,
W.O. Cox of Pelham, Hollis Cox
of Pelham, Willie Floyd Cox, Jr.
of Brinson and Alvie Cox of
Pelham; a sister, Juanita Cox of
Brinson; fourteen grandchildren
and four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M.
Tuesday, April 22 at the funeral
home.

Mr. Harrison was born March
29, 1924 in Dooley Co. He was
retired from the US Air Force as
a Master Sergeant, he was a
member of the William M. Wilson
VFW Post {pound}6046 and was a
member of Colquitt Free Will
Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife,
Christine Tully Harrison of
Colquitt, two daughters, Gloria (Jim)
Lotz of Marietta and Phyllis
(Larry) Harwood of Sumter, SC,
one brother, Edward (Buck)
Richardson of Pearland, TX, three
sisters, Elizabeth Smith and
Betty Odom both of Lake
Livingston, TX and Nancy Dollar of Van
Cleave, MS, five grandchildren,
Laura Harwood, Amy Cline, Jill
Graham, Kenneth Harwood and
Shelley Wilson. He was
preceded in death by a daughter,
Patricia Ann Harrison, a
granddaughter, Jennifer Lotz and
two sisters, Marjorie Mattilo and
Sarah Jane Walling.

Debbie Odum, 54, of Griffin,
formerly of Albany died Friday,
April 18, 2008 at Our Lady of
Perpetual Help Home in Atlanta.
Mrs. Odum was born May 18,
1953 in Albany, daughter of the
late Guy P. Odum, SR. and the
late Jurelle Ogden Odum. She
lived in Albany many years
before moving to Griffin and was a
member of the First United
Methodist Church of Albany.
Mrs. Odum was cremated in
accordance with her wishes.
