Elbert Goff Jr.

WARNER ROBINS — Elbert “Burt” Goff, Jr., 71, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2008, in a local hospital.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 PM today (Monday) at the funeral home.

Mr. Goff was born in Winston- Salem, NC, to the late Elbert S. Goff, Sr. and Mildred Chambers Goff. He was retired from Robins Air Force Base, where he was a DSL Dispatcher. He was a member of the Central GA Radio Club, a former Juvenile Sgt. with the Albany Police Department in Albany, GA, and a former Security Officer at Robins Air Force Base. Mr. Goff was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Survivors includes his wife, Janice T. Goff of Warner Robins; children, Jonathan N. (Jalanda) Goff of Warner Robins; daughters, Cynthia G. (Tony) Harmon of Ft. Valley, GA, Karen G. (Wayne) Davis of Twiggs County, GA; sister, Marolyn Sparks of Winston-Salem, NC; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Flowers will be accepted but those who wish, may make donations to the American Diabetes Association (Georgia Affiliate) One Corporate Square, Suite 127, Atlanta, GA, 30329, in memory of Mr. Goff.
