WARNER ROBINS — Elbert
“Burt” Goff, Jr., 71, passed away
Saturday, April 26, 2008, in a
local hospital.
Services will be held at 11:00
a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of
Heritage Memorial Funeral
Home. Visitation will be from 6
until 8 PM today (Monday) at the
funeral home.
Mr. Goff was born in Winston-
Salem, NC, to the late Elbert S.
Goff, Sr. and Mildred Chambers
Goff. He was retired from Robins
Air Force Base, where he was a
DSL Dispatcher. He was a
member of the Central GA Radio
Club, a former Juvenile Sgt. with
the Albany Police Department in
Albany, GA, and a former
Security Officer at Robins Air Force
Base. Mr. Goff was a veteran of
the United States Air Force.
Survivors includes his wife,
Janice T. Goff of Warner Robins;
children, Jonathan N. (Jalanda)
Goff of Warner Robins;
daughters, Cynthia G. (Tony)
Harmon of Ft. Valley, GA, Karen
G. (Wayne) Davis of Twiggs
County, GA; sister, Marolyn
Sparks of Winston-Salem, NC;
five grandchildren and four great
grandchildren.
Flowers will be accepted but
those who wish, may make
donations to the American Diabetes
Association (Georgia Affiliate)
