His love for arts and his desire to improve the quality of life for our community, he gave this community and region Miller’s Fine Art Gallery, the first African American images in public facilities that included Phoebe Putney Hospital, Dougherty Co. Health Department and the City of Albany. His vision for a better Albany caused him to launch the Development Company, Oglethorpe Development Group, Inc., where he was the founder, president and CEO.
