Roxie Frazier

ALBANY — Roxie Frazier, 91, of 1004 E. Tift Ave., died Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Saturday, May 3, 2008 in the Alphonso Thomas Chapel at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Union Memorial Cemetery.

Susie Senn Hollingsworth

ALBANY — Susie Senn Hollingsworth, 67, of Albany died April 29, 2008 at her residence. Funeral services will be Sunday, May 4, 2008 at 2 P.M. at Banks Funeral Home with interment in Evergreen Cemetery. Pastor Chris Turner will officiate.

Mrs. Hollingsworth was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Thomas Hollingsworth who passed January 1, 2001.

She was born July 19, 1940 in Dale Co., AL. to the late Otis Senn and Lee Anderson Senn. She has lived in Dougherty Co. since 2004 moving from Worth Co. She worked as a salesperson at Sam’s Club in Albany. She enjoyed reading, poetry and was an artist. She was a member of the Evergreen Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Steve Gunter and wife, Margie of Loganville, Bert Merritt, Jr. of Leesburg and Nathan Hatcher of Poulan, one sister, Elsie Pollock of Albany, five brothers, Huey Senn, Dewey Senn both of Albany, O.L. Senn of Tyler, TX, Otis Senn, Jr. of Sylvester and Clarence Senn of Baconton. Grandchildren, Justin Gunter, Amber Nicole Merritt, Michael Paul Merritt, Robert Nathan Hatcher, Jr. and Takarra J. Burk. A number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home.

ALBANY — Charlie Lee Roberson, 67, 1125 Gaissert Rd, Albany died April 26, 2008 at Phoebe Putney Hospital. Funeral services will be Saturday 1 P.M. at Greater Pines Chapel Baptist Church in Riverside Cemetery.

Woodrow Trent

ALBANY — Woodrow “Odis” Trent, 72, of Albany passed away Thursday, May 1, 2008 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted Today May 3, 2008 at 3 P.M. in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Rev. Robin Chaplain will officiate and cremation will follow the service.

Woodrow “Odis” Trent was born November 26, 1935 in Perry Co., KY to the late Stanley and Opal Ritchie Trent. Odis as he was known was a hard worker having worked for many years as a truck driver. Many people turned to him for advise through the years and saw him as a man of wisdom. Mr. Trent enjoyed fishing and collecting antique cars. Odis was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Mary Cathryn Shryock Trent of Albany; three sons and daughter-in-law, David Trent and his wife Sarah of Panama City Beach, FL, Dewayne Trent and his wife Misty of Albany and Michael Trent of Americus; two daughters, Vicki Morgan and Raymond of Albany and Tina Purcell and her husband, Scott of Fitzgerald; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Dannie McDowell and his wife Carol of Albany and Larry McDowell of Panama City beach, Fl; one sister, Norma Jean Wright of Albany; five grandchildren, Audrey, David Jr., Christina, Stacy and Steven; and three great-grand-children.

The family will receive friends today from 1 P.M. until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
