BAINBRIDGE — Lola Odom Coursey, 87, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2008 at her residence. The funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Riverdale Cemetery in Columbus, GA. The family will receive friends at Ivey Funeral Home immediately following the funeral service.

Alice Laverne Franklin

COLQUITT — Alice Laverne Franklin, 68, of Colquitt died may 4, 2008 at her residence. Funeral services will be Tuesday 11 A.M. at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with interment in Colquitt City Cemetery. Rev. David Thompson and Rev. Kent Barwick will officiate. Active pallbearers will be Jimmy Ray Kelly, Richard Hillborn, Chris Cook, lane Giddens, Don Hilburn and Sam Franklin.

Mrs. Franklin was born January 14, 1940 in Miller Co. She was retired from Thomas & Betts in Bainbridge and was a member of the Colquitt united Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Paula Elaine (John) Bedwell of Colquitt and Sandra Yvonne McCullough of Blakely, two sons, William Timothy (Kari) Franklin of Brunswick and Wallace Hugh (Lana) Franklin of Colquitt, mother, Theo Reagan of Colquitt, one sister, Bonnie Sue (R.D) Franklin of Colquitt, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Franklin and her father, Wallce Reagan.

Wallace Reagan

COLQUITT — Wallace Reagan, 81, of Colquitt died May 4, 2008 at Miller Co. Hospital. Funeral services will be Tuesday 4 P.M. at Colquitt Free Will Baptist Church with interment in Colquitt City Cemetery. Rev. Kent Barwick and Rev. William Smith will officiate. Active pallbearers will be Rodney Phillips, Wallace Phillips, Richard Hilburn, Jimmy Ray Kelly, Lynn cooper and Sam Franklin. Honorary pallbearers will be Masons, Shriners, Members of the VFW and American Legion.

Mr. Reagan was born June 19, 1926 in Early Co. He was retired from the State of Georgia as a Meat Inspector. He was a member of the Walter C. Dancer Lodge {pound}115 where he served as Treasurer, was Past Master, had received his 50 year Masonic Pin, was a 33 degree Scottish Rite Mason of the Valley of Albany Scottish Rite Temple, Past Director of the Royal Order of Jester Court 159 in Albany. He was also a member of the William M. Wilson VFW Post {pound} 6046 where he had served as Commander and Quarter Master and a member of the Gerald Grow Post {pound}165 American Legion.

Survivors include his wife, Theo Reagan of Colquitt, one daughter, Bonnie Sue (R.D.) Franklin of Colquitt, two sisters, Dorothy Phillips of Colquitt and Becky Murkerson of Blakely, three brothers, Jessie Ray Reagan of Columbus, Robert Reagen of Iron City and David Reagan of Donalsonville, seven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Laverne Franklin.
