Linda Sue Lynch

ALBANY — On Sunday, May 4, 2008, Linda Sue (Faloon) Lynch of Albany, GA passed away peacefully at 12 noon at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. She was a victim of cancer. A private family service is planned in her home town of Oak Ridge, TN. She fought a good fight. She finished the race. She kept the faith.

Mrs. Lynch was a graduate of Darton Junior College and Albany State University with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice. She was employed by the Sowega Council on Aging as a case manager.

She was the wife of William (Bill) Leroy Lynch for 34 years, the mother of Jeremy Faloon Lynch and his wife Casheena of Oak Ridge, TN and Laurel Anne Lynch of Albany and the grandmother of Robyn Kara Lynch also of Oak Ridge, TN. Mrs Lynch is also survived by her mother Mary Gillis Faloon of Oak Ridge, TN and her sister Cheryl Faloon Caldwell and her husband Mike of Memphis, TN, three nieces Priscilla, Amanda and Elizabeth Caldwell. Mrs. Lynch was preceded in death by her father, Albert Von Faloon.

Ruth Hedrick Reese

ALBANY — Ruth Hedrick Reese, age 82, the wife of the late Thaddeus Berrien Reese, Jr. passed away Sunday, May 3, 2008 at Laurel Heights Assisted Living Community in London, Kentucky.

She was the former Alice Ruth Hedrick of Albany, Georgia and later lived in Louisville, Kentucky before retiring to London, Kentucky.

She was survived by her children, Elizabeth R. Faust of London, and Dr. Katherine A. Reese and husband Dr. Justin O. Schecter of Weston, Connecticut by her grandchildren, Jackson Reese Faust of London, Mara and Brendon Schecter, both of Weston, Connecticut. Besides her husband she is also preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Harrison and Bessie Curry Hedrick, her brothers, Frank H. Hedrick, Dermot Q. Hedrick, H. H. ”June” Hedrick, Jr., Robert Hedrick, and her sisters, Sara Bess Hedrick, Florence Hedrick and Elizabeth Hedrick. She was also survived by her beloved standard poodle, Sydell. She was also blessed with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Mass of Christian burial for Ruth Hedrick Reese will be conducted Thursday, May 08, 2008 at 9:00 A.M. at St. Williams Catholic Church in London with Father Charles Howell II officiating. Entombment will follow at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, May 8, 2008 at Resthaven Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky. The Family of Ruth Hedrick Reese will receive friends at London Funeral Home From 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 7, 2008. In lieu of Flowers the family suggest donations be made to: St. Williams Catholic Church Building Fund, 521 West 5th Street, London, Kentucky 40741 or Saint Camillus Academy, 709 Kidd Avenue, Corbin, Kentucky 40701. London Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.

Veronica Kleeman Sineath

ALBANY — Veronica Kleeman (Bits) Sineath, 87, of Albany, died Tuesday, May 6, 2008.

Bits was a member of St. Teresa’s Catholic Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Bits enjoyed needlework, camping, and serving in various organizations in her church and community. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, James A. Sineath.

Bits is survived by her daughter: Patty Murphy and husband John of Knoxville, TN; son: Buster Sineath and Jennifer LeClair of Leesburg, GA; grandchildren: Becky Samples and husband Jerry of Knoxville, TN and Bo Murphy of Chattanooga, TN; nieces and nephews.

A mass will be held Friday, May 9, 2008 at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church at 10 AM with interment to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Finbarr Stanton will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the mass at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church from 9:30 AM till 10 AM.

William Anthony Usher, Jr.

SYLVESTER — William Anthony “Bill” Usher, Jr., 57 of Albany died May 5, 2008 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

The family and friends will celebrate Bill’s life May 9, 2008. The remains were cremated.

Bill was born August 28, 1950 in Indianapolis, IN. He was married to the late Donna Leigh Barber Usher who preceded him in death April 4, 1996. He was an Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War, worked as a Electrical Engineer. He enjoyed diving, electronics, racing, flying and especially his family and friends.

Survivors include his son, William Anthony “Bill” Usher, III and his wife Dana of Albany, daughter, Elizabeth Kyeyune and her husband Stephen of South Bend, IN, grandchildren, Jarren Wright, Elysa Leigh Usher- Kyeyune and Bailey Usher, a sister, Kandy Callahan of Brooksville, FL and a stepfather, Lou Brady of Brooksville, FL.
