Flag dropped on speedway
So, the Dougherty County Commission dropped a black flag after all. After weeks of avoiding the issue, the County Commission came up with a decision Monday that essentially drove speedway and dirt-track racing out of Dougherty County altogether.

Mediacom ignoring TV ‘tiling’ problem
I have reached the end of my rope. I subscribe to all three of Mediacom’s services — phone, internet and cable. I continue to get acceptable phone and Internet service, but my cable reception is less than acceptable. I have gone the extra mile to give Mediacom a chance to correct the problem but they just do not seem interested in me as a customer.
