Second route long overdue
Years ago, the Nottingham Way exit on the Liberty Expressway was like that small restaurant you sometimes luck up on. The food’s great and it’s easy to get a table because not many people realize it’s there.

Speedway decision was off the track
Our civic leaders have done a great disservice to our county. Some commissioners claim it was a “quality of life” issue, it produced too much noise. Commissioner Hayes stated on television that”he was in that area the previous weekend and the noise was very loud. What Commissioner Hayes didn’t say was the noise he heard was from the drag strip across the street from the racetrack.

Goodwill Industries fills local needs
You might think — as many do — that Goodwill Industries is simply a place to donate those old blue jeans or books your children have outgrown. You figure others can then buy your gently used items at an affordable price — and you’re right. But, this doesn’t begin to scratch the surface of how Goodwill is changing lives here in Albany.
