Student seeks help studying Georgia

I, Raini Britton, would like to learn more about Georgia and am asking the assistance of residents of your community for help.

I am a seventh-grader at Elk Horn Kimballton community school in Elk Horn, Iowa, and I’m working on a class project to learn as much as I can about the state of Georgia. I have chosen Georgia as my project and will be doing a report on it and other things, like sending postcards across the United States, keeping a states’ journal, designing a state map, trifold poster and giving a mini presentation to parents and teacher at the end of the year.

I hope to receive an abundance of information from local residents. Anything from T-shirts, maps, brochures, memorabilia, school items, etc. would be welcome.

It would be helpful to me to have postcards of your state, maps, brochures, and information about wildlife, industry, tourist attractions, statistics, sports teams and other information. I am from a small town in southwest Iowa called Elk Horn.
