Fundraiser to feature food, fashion

• Children’s Miracle Network will benefit from Saturday’s “A Day Fit for a Queen.”

ALBANY — This weekend, Doublegate Country Club will be the place for Southwest Georgians to get the royal treatment during “A Day Fit for a Queen” luncheon and fashion show.

The event starts at 11 a.m. with a silent auction and wine tasting. The luncheon and fashion show will begin 30 minutes later.

Tickets, which are $35, are available at Blush, Butterfly Kisses, Mere Denim, The Parlor Boutique, Mint Julep Day Spa, The Pink Market and Royal Collections.

Proceeds will benefit Children’s Miracle Network and the Miss Albany Scholarship Organization.
