If you’re wondering what to do this Mother’s Day weekend, look no further than Bainbridge! Friday and Saturday, May 10-11, enjoy music, great food, kids’ activities, a huge rummage sale and fireworks during the 10th annual River Town Days festival on the banks of the Flint River at the Earle May Boat Basin Park.

Activities begin Friday evening with a free concert featuring the Dirty Guv’nahs at 8:00 p.m. After album releases, non-stop touring and music video appearances on CMT and MTV, this six member band has expanded its fan base and will be rocking the stage with their high energy performance. Opening for the Dirty Guv’nahs at 6:30 will be an exciting local group, Traveler. Immediately following the concert, fireworks will be shot from a Pirates’ Ship anchored in the boat basin.

Saturday events get underway bright and early with a River Rummage and arts and crafts, with vendors selling their wares under the big oaks lining the Flint River. Saturday’s activities have been expanded this year, with hours from 10-5 and there will be a lot more kids’ activities this year, including water slides and rides on the pirate ship. Of course, there will be food vendors available both Friday night and Saturday so pack up your family and plan to enjoy a fun weekend in Bainbridge for the 10th annual River Town Days festivities.
