Ten questions for Alicia Malone

To get a feeling for Alicia Malone’s movie preferences, she agrees to answer these 10 fun film questions:

1. You’re trapped in an elevator for three days with one electronic device that holds only one movie. Which movie would you want that to be?

Billy Wilder’s “The Apartment.” I can watch it over and over.

2. You have the chance to go back in time and play a Bond villain. Which 007 actor would you want to be your co-star?

Sean Connery, my favorite Bond, and probably in “Dr. No.”

3. You collapse and are semi-conscious. If you can conjure up one actor or actress from any Hollywood period to give you mouth-to-mouth, who would it be?

Oh, Cary Grant. I had such a crush on him when I was young and still do.

4. Would you prefer to have dinner with Bill Shatner, Patrick Stewart or Chris Pine?

Shatner. His stories would be fascinating.

5. A pizza girl brings a delivery to your door. Would she get a bigger tip if she looked more like Marilyn Monroe or Jane Russell?

I’d say Marilyn. She’s always fascinated me both as a symbol on screen and as a woman off-screen.

6. If you could have played the leading lady in one Hollywood film, which would it have been?

“His Girl Friday.” I love the Hildy Johnson character and would get to wear that cool hat!

7. You’re forced to binge watch nonstop for 24-hours the films of just one genre. Which one?

Film noir.

8. If you could pluck three or four actors from the pages of Hollywood history and cast them together in a film, who would you choose?

Katharine Hepburn. Also Marilyn Monroe and give her a serious role because she never got many chances to do them. And Jimmy Stewart and Jack Lemmon.

9. You’re hired to appear in a live-action remake of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.” Which of the dwarfs would you want to be cast as because his personality was closest to yours?

Happy, because I’m always smiling.

10. You’re sent to prison for a year and can watch DVDs in your cell. But only from one decade. Which decade would you choose?

The ’50s. All my favorite films are from that decade, and it was such as glamorous era.
