Washington has pleaded guilty to one count of coverting nearly $40,000 in facade grant funds to his personal use and one count of making false statements as it relates to a lease agreement for his store Dollar Square and ADICA.
Brown has pleaded guilty to defrauding a political subdivision and theft by taking.
Both will be sentenced following their testimony against Buie at his trial, which is set to begin December 14.
All of the charges are felonies.
Additionally, a grand jury Wednesday indicted Buie on several additional charges including making false statements and concealment of facts within a political subdivision for allegedly creating and then covering up the lease for Dollar Square.
