MACON -- The annual GISA All-Star game is set for Saturday at noon at Mount de Sales, and a host of local talent will be making the trip to shine one last time this season.

Class AAA runner-up Deerfield-Windsor had the most players selected as Tony Zenon, Quinton Adkins, Reggie Brown and Justin Webb will all make the trip. DWS' one-time crosstown rival, Sherwood Christian, was next, placing three on the All-Star team, although a total of five were invited. Pete McSwain, Stephen Cannady and Jawroski Howard will represent the Eagles, who also received invitations for star RB Dontavious Brown and Dereinque Daniel, but both were unavailable to play because they will be taking their SAT test this weekend.

From SGA, which will provide the coaching staff for one of the All-Star teams, the Warriors who made the cut were Nile Knapp, Parker Rentz and Austin Boyd. Also, for Class A state champ Terrell Academy, Cole Byrd and Garrett Freeman will be there, as well Randolph Southern's Loy Devane and Michael Ledford. Southland's Bo Minor also made the team, as did Westwood's Mitch Bernier and Andrew Adams.

Griffin Christian coaches will lead the other team. Game time is set for noon.
