Comedian White to perform in Albany

ALBANY — Comedian Ron “Tater Salad” White will bring his Behavioral Problems tour to the Good Life City next month.

On Jan. 15, White, a member of the original “Blue Collar Comedy Tour,” will perform at the Albany Municipal Auditorium.

The concert kicks off at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $38.75 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. They will be available at the Albany Civic Center box office, at TicketMaster outlets, by visiting www.ticketmaster.com or charging by phone at (800) 745-3000.

A two-time Grammy nominee, White is known for his cigar smoking and scotch drinking during his routine, as well as his tales of growing up in a small town centered in Texas oil country.

White’s debut comedy album, “Drunk in Public,” was certified gold after selling 500,000 copies. His television specials, “They Call Me Tater Salad” and “You Can’t Fix Stupid” placed high on Comedy Central cable network’s ratings.
