ALBANY -- Westover transfer Dequan Green, son of former Patriots great Dontonio Wingfield, was on the Patriots' bench Saturday -- but in street clothes.

Westover coach Dallis Smith, who was hoping Green would see his first action with the Patriots since coming over from Sherwood Christian last week, said there were some "paperwork" issues that kept Green out of the lineup, but the coach added that things should be ironed out shortly and he expected Green to be in uniform at the start of the new year.

Herald Super Six player Brandon Johnson of Monroe suited up for the first time this year after missing six games due to a knee injury. Johnson, a 6-foot-8 post player, scored two points in limited action.
