Fannie Corley, 77, of Lee County has been missing after 6 a.m today.
Corley, a cancer patient, may have been walking south on Jefferson Street when she disappeared. Her car was found in south Lee County at the Jefferson Street bridge at Lake Chehaw.
The family would like anyone who has seen her to call the Lee County Sheriff's Office, (229) 759-6012; Dougherty County Police Department, (229) 430-6600, or Albany Police Department, (229) 431-2100.
A caller to emergency dispatch said she saw a woman walking toward Albany sometime this morning, law enforcement officials said.
Because Corley's car was found on the bridge, emergency personnel launched a boat to search for her in the lake.
