ALBANY -- The Albany Museum of Art will kick off its exhibit of works by Elisabeth Condon this week with a gallery talk Thursday.
The event begins at 6:30 p.m. at the museum.
A resident of Tampa, Fla., Condon is a world traveler who finds inspiration from traditional Chinese painting from the 13th and 14th centuries. Her work reflects that inspiration with colorful paintings.
"Elisabeth's work presents all the complexity and vibrancy of a global perspective," Museum Director Nick Nelson stated in a news release. "We are very pleased to present this innovative work to Albany and Southwest Georgia."
Following Thursday's opening and gallery talk, Condon's exhibit will be on display through Jan. 15.
