ALBANY -- Southwest Georgians looking to celebrate that Jolly Old Elf, Saint Nicholas, should head to the Thronateeksa Heritage Center this weekend for its Santa's Christmas Bazaar.
The free event will be held 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday.
The bazaar will feature local arts and crafts vendors sporting holiday-themed gift items.
But that's not all.
"In addition to the arts and crafts, the History Museum will also open the 5th annual Santa Clause exhibit," states a news release. "The yearly favorite will bring cheer to young and old alike."
The display showcases Don Fisher's collection of more than 2,500 figurines, sculptures, paintings and crafted forms of that old Kris Kringle.
"Even Santa, himself, will be taking a break from his work at the North Pole to talk to the children," the release states. "Bring your Christmas wish list and camera from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. in the History Museum."
In case of rain, covered areas will be available throughout the event.
