Kwasi Hobbs, a suspect in an attempted armed robbery that resulted in the shooting death of another suspect, has surrendered himself to police, officials say.
Around 10 p.m., Hobbs showed up at the Law Enforcement Center downtown and was placed under arrest, Albany Police Department Spokesperson Phyllis Banks said.
He has been charged with armed robbery and aggravated assault. Police are still looking for at least one other suspect in the case.
