Danny Carter, managing editor
Danny Carter has been with The Herald in several capacities during the past 23 years. In addition to his duties as managing editor, Carter writes a weekly business column in Sunday's edition. He is on the Georgia Associated Press News Council and serves on the board of directors of the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce. Carter has won numerous writing awards in Georgia Associated Press and Georgia Press Association competitions.
