ALBANY -- The Albany Tech women's team has now lost two in a row after starting 2-1, the latest defeat coming Friday to Chattahoochee Valley Community College, 65-55.
The Lady Titans (2-3) were led by Tekaya Sherrod with 11 points. She was the only Albany Tech player in double figures, while CVCC's Shantoria Baday led all scorers with 23.
The women try to rebound today against Middle Georgia Tech at 6 p.m.
ALBANY TECH MEN 104, MIDDLE GEORGIA TECH 58:
The Titans, led by 19 points from Rahaem James, improved to 4-5 on the year Friday with a rout of MGTC. The Titans also got 15 points from Rontrell Frazier and 14 apiece from Justin Wilcox and Wilbur Lake.
MGTC was led by Daniel Huntington with 17 points.
The men get back into action today against Sound Doctrine out of LaGrange.
