Pete Skiba joined The Albany Herald in June, 2009. Journalism is a second career for the former business owner and native of New Jersey.
He graduated with a bachelor's degree in communications from Rutgers University in 1999. Previously, he had graduated from American University in Washington, D.C., with a bachelor's in American studies.
Pete has worked at newspapers in Pennsylvania, California, North Carolina and Florida. His awards include:
