Dougherty County Commission Chairman Jeff "Bodine" Sinyard made official today his decision to run for a new term as board chair.
Sinyard, in a noon news conference at the Government Center on Pine Avenue, will complete his second four-year term this year.
In making the announcement, Sinyard touted the success of the Equinox company and the pending location of a Wal-Mart Supercenter in East Albany as examples of progress that can be made when local leaders work together.
