ALBANY -- Albany police found drugs and guns in an apartment in Albany Friday while investigating a call of shots being fired.
APD officers received a call at 8:30 a.m. Friday from neighbors who said they heard gunshots in an apartment at the Westwood Apartments at 2010 W. Broad Ave.
An initial investigation led officers to apartment No. 95, where a search was conducted. Officers discovered ecstasy, marijuana and two firearms along with tools to show intent to distribute the drugs during their search, authorities said.
One of the firearms in the apartment was determined to be stolen, police said.
Terrence Odeilus Paul, 27, was charged with possession of ecstasy and marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a stolen firearm.
