ALBANY -- Albany Police Department officers responded to at least 24 incidents Sunday, according to reports. The incidents included:
-- Theft by taking on the 800 block of 10th Avenue;
-- Carjacking on the 200 block of West Broad Avenue;
-- Criminal trespassing on the 1200 block of South Van Buren Street, the 1200 block of Clark Avenue, the 600 block of Sands Drive, the 1000 block of South Harding Street, the 600 block of West Highland Avenue, the 3100 block of Crepe Myrtle Court, the 2000 block of South Jackson Street and the 200 block of Thornton Drive;
-- Forgery on the 1000 block of Pine Avenue;
-- Simple battery on the 50 block of Dallas Drive;
-- Rape on the 600 block of South Monroe Street;
-- Disorderly conduct on the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
-- Entering autos on the 600 block of Sixth Avenue, the 800 block of 11th Avenue and the 1600 block of Cromartie Beach Drive;
-- Battery on the the 600 block of West Lincoln Avenue;
-- Wanted person on the 900 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive;
-- Open container on the 600 block of South McKinley Street.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Emergency Medical Services responded to 56 calls Sunday. There were 42 medical calls, 12 trauma calls and two other calls. Medical calls included four chest pains, six respiratory problems, two people fainted, one altered mental status, one diabetic issue, one seizure, one mental health call, one heat-related call and 22 various medical calls. Trauma calls included seven vehicle-crash injuries, one person fell, two fights and two people were cut.
