ALBANY, Ga. -- Albany police responded to at least 35 incidents Tuesday into the early hours of Wednesday, according to available reports. Police responded to incidents including:
-- Burglaries on the 1200 block of East First Avenue, the 4500 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, the 1900 block of Stuart Avenue, the 1200 block of Radium Springs Road and the 2000 block of North Flintlock Drive;
-- Wanted person on outstanding burglary warrants on the 300 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
-- Man wanted on child support warrants on the 1000 block of Gillionville Road;
-- Recovered property, a handgun, on the 2000 block of Jones Avenue;
-- Simple assault: a woman threatened by a boyfriend with a gun on his person on the 500 block of Moultrie Road;
-- Aggravated assault (family violence) on the 1400 block of Whispering Pines Road;
-- Aggravated assault (domestic violence); a wife stabbed by her husband on the 2300 block of Greenleaf Lane;
-- Assault (family violence) on the 600 block of North Davis Street;
-- Assault (domestic violence) on the 1500 block of East Campbell Avenue;
-- Domestic disturbances (unfounded) on the 2100 block of Tompkins Avenue and the 1200 block of West Linden Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least 18 calls Tuesday, according to reports. Police responded to incidents including:
-- Intelligence investigation of a 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 flatbed truck possibly involved in vandalism in the area on the 2600 block of Lonesome Road and a 2008 Ford F-150 Super Crew 4x4 on the 4300 block of Bluesprings Road, also suspected of vandalism;
-- Domestic violence (battery) on the 3200 block of Sylvester Road;
-- Domestic violence ( aggravated assault) on the 500 block of the Liberty Expressway.
ALBANY FIRE: Albany firefighters responded to eight calls Tuesday including a mobile home fire, five activated alarms, police assist with vehicle wreck and a public service call.
