ALBANY, Ga. -- Albany police responded to at least 30 incidents Friday into the early hours of Saturday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:

-- Aggravated assault, man reported shot on the 400 block of West Third Street. Officers responded to Palmyra Medical Center because of a reported shooting. While walking near the intersection of Pineview and Marie Roads, Tervorous Thomas, 23, was shot in the back with an unknown firearm while walking with his brother Derreck Thomas Jr., 26, who was uninjured, said Phyllis Banks police spokeswoman. "The victims provided no information concerning the suspects," she added;

-- Aggravated assault, a man was reported stabbed in the back on the 2200 block of South Jackson Street. Officers responded to a fight at the above location, Banks said. While Cary Demond Cooper, 31, tried to break up the fight he was stabbed, she added. "After he left the scene, he says it was then he realized that he had been stabbed and he drove himself to the hospital, Banks said;

-- Theft by taking a four wheeler on the 600 block of 16th Avenue;

-- Injured person, dog bite on the 1000 block of West Fourth Avenue;

-- Deceased person on the 600 block of West Mercer Avenue;

-- Possession of less than an ounce of marijuana on the 2100 block of Clark Avenue;

-- Disorderly conduct, a fight at Club River on the 1000 block of Flint Avenue, reports stated;

-- Interference with an officer on the 1000 block of Flint Avenue;

-- Possession of less than an ounce of marijuana on the 1100 block of West Waddell Avenue;

-- Burglary on the 800 block of Cherry Avenue and the 200 block of Waverly Avenue;

-- Simple battery, criminal trespass (domestic violence) on the 500 block of North Cleveland Street;

-- Vandalism (family violence) on the 1000 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

-- Domestic (unfounded) on the first block of Patricia Drive;

-- Assault (family violence) on the 200 block of Monarch Drive and the 700 block of Muse Avenue;

-- Simple battery (domestic violence) on the 2700 block of Westgate Drive.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least 32 calls, according to police reports.

Police responded to incidents including:

-- Recovery of a stolen vehicle on the 300 block of Corn Street. Police found a 2000 Ford reported stolen from Lee County and arrested Darren Moore for theft by receiving, a police report stated.

-- Entering auto on the 57oo block of Moultrie Road.

-- Wanted person arrest on the 1100 block of Dawson Road;

-- Domestic violence (battery) on the 2800 block of Barnaby Road.
