ALBANY -- Two teenage brothers were transferred to an Augusta hospital after being pulled from the bottom of an Albany motel's pool during the weekend.
Officials with the Albany Police Department said Justin Milledge, 13, and Marquis Milledge, 14, were involved in near-drownings around 5:30 p.m. Sunday after guests pulled the unresponsive teenagers from the pool at the Regency Inn on the 900 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard.
After the brothers were transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, police said Monday that they were transported to the MCG Health Children's Medical Center in Augusta for further treatment. Each brother was listed in critical condition.
