ALBANY -- Albany police responded to at least 52 incidents Friday into the early hours of Saturday, according to available reports. Police responded to incidents including:

-- Financial card transaction theft on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;

-- Recovered property -- a backpack containing copper wire, a bolt cutter and a hacksaw -- on the 200 block of Cordele Road;

-- Motor vehicle thefts on the 600 block of South Jefferson Street and the 400 block of Blaylock Avenue;

-- Simple battery on the 500 block of Willard Avenue;

-- Armed robbery on the 800 block of West Highland Avenue;

-- Child molestation on the 200 block of West Fourth Avenue;

-- Aggravated assault: shot reportedly fired as a car was being repossessed on the 500 block of Pinson Road. The case is under investigation;

-- Entering an auto on the 600 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

-- Drunken driving on the 700 block of North Westover Boulevard;

-- Domestic disturbances (unfounded) on the 1600 block of Malone Drive, the 500 block of Odom Road, the 1400 block of Elkhorn Lane and the 500 block of Moultrie Road;

-- Assaults (family violence) on the 600 block of Sands Drive, the 200 block of East Road, the 400 block of Nona Drive and the 700 block of North Van Buren Street;

-- Vandalism (family violence) on the 2000 block of Thompkins Drive;

-- Battery (family violence) on the 1300 block of Lee Street and the 2800 block of Old Dawson Road.
