ALBANY, Ga. -- Albany police responded to at least 41 incidents Monday into the early hours of Tuesday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
-- Driving under the influence, drugs, on the 1000 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
-- Burglary, theft of a 52-inch Sanyo television, on the 200 block of South Madison Street;
-- Motor vehicle theft on the 1000 block of Dunes Avenue;
-- Child molestation on the 1000 block of Dunes Avenue;
-- Entering auto on the 1500 block of Radium Springs Road, the 1900 block of Gordon Road, the 1300 block of East Third Avenue and the 1100 block of Colquitt Avenue;
-- Injured person on the 900 block of West Tift Avenue;
-- Missing juvenile on the 500 block of American lane;
-- Burglary on the 500 block of South Cleveland Street and the 1700 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
-- Recovered property, a bicycle, on the 1100 block of Colquitt Avenue;
-- Possession of cocaine on the 300 block of South Davis Street;
-- Aggravated assault on the 600 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
-- Domestic (unfounded) on the 1700 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 2500 block of Belmont Drive, the 700 block of West Society Avenue and the 1100 block of Avalon Avenue;
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least 27 calls, according to police reports.
Police responded to incidents including:
-- Family violence on the 500 block of Liberty expressway;
-- Burglary, theft of a television, a DVD player, DVD movies and a picture, all valued at $1,000, on the 3200 block of Sylvester Road;
-- Juvenile problem on the 6300 block of Hedder Street;
-- Traffic arrest speeding and unlicensed charges on the 5400 block of Newton Road.
LEE SHERIFF: Lee County deputies responded to at least eight calls, according to police reports.
Deputies responded to incidents including:
-- Burglary, theft of a $900 42-inch flat screen television, on the 1400 block of Cherokee Road;
-- Criminal damage on the 200 block of Pebble Ridge drive;
-- Public drunkenness on the 400 block of Century Road;
Traffic stops at the intersection of Ledo and Palmyra roads and Philema and Hattie Bell roads;
-- Theft on the 2800 block of Ledo Road.
ALBANY FIRE: Albany firefighters responded to 14 calls including:
-- A semitrailer cab caught on fire at about 2:05 p.m. Tuesday as it traveled on West Oakridge Drive just west of Radium Springs Road. Firefighters had the flames out within minutes while the Albany Police Department closed West Oakridge Drive from Radium Springs Road to South Jackson Street from almost an hour. No one was reported injured;
-- Animal rescue cat on roof, propane gas leak, alarm activated, toast in toaster set off alarm, two structure fires, two electrical problems, clothes in dryer on fire, rubbish in a barrel on fire, trash bin fire and a clean up after a vehicle crash.
