Law enforcement officials say they need help tracking down a twin who is a person of interest in an aggravated battery case that involved the beating of a victim with a metal pipe.
An e-mail sent to The Herald this morning from the Albany Police Department describes Emmanuel Yarbrough, 18, of 610 Burke Avenue in Albany as a person of interest in the case.
According to police, Yarbrough may have more information about the incident that occured around 3:30 a.m. on June 29 at the Dollar Inn Motel located at 2706 North Slappey Boulevard. Police say during the incident a victim was beaten repeatedly with a metal pipe.
Yarbrough is described as standing 5'6" and weighs approximately 130 lbs. Yarbrough has an identical twin brother who is distinguishable from Yarbrough because he has a tattoo on his right wrist that reads "Twin 2".
Law enforcement asks that anyone who has information regarding this incident call Crime Stoppers at (229) 436-TIPS or call the Criminal Investigations Bureau at (229) 431-3288.
