ALBANY, Ga.: Fire officials are investigating what they believe to be an arson overnight after firefighters responded to a call about two cars on fire.
Arson Investigator Sam Harris is still piecing the event together, but two cars parked in front of a home on Westcott Lane off Gillionville Road were torched, Chief James Carswell said.
The cars have been significantly damaged.
Fire officials believe that whomever set the cars ablaze likely knew their owners, Carswell said.
