ALBANY, Ga. -- The Albany Police Department is soliciting the public's help in bringing closure to two ongoing cases.
Carlton Harris Jr., 30, is wanted for kidnapping and cruelty to a child in the 3rd degree in connection to an incident that occurred about 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 10 at the 900 block of South Street.
"The victim reported that her husband, in an attempt to kidnap her, dragged her with his vehicle," APD spokeswoman Phyllis Banks said.
Harris is thought to possibly be driving a blue 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser.
APD is also looking for Dexter Tyrone Shavers, 47. He is considered a person of interest in the death investigation of 40-year-old Flora Hoskins.
Shavers is described by police as a black male, 5 feet, 7 inches tall, and weighing 195 pounds.
