ALBANY, Ga. -- An elderly couple from Baconton is still in serious condition at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital after an accident on Radium Springs Road Friday afternoon.
The conditions of the couple, John Ramsey, 85, and Flora Ramsey, 83, were confirmed by a hospital spokeswoman Monday afternoon.
A status of "serious condition" means that vital signs may be unstable and not within normal limits.
The couple was injured along with William Davis, 66, in a collision on the 1700 block of Radium Springs Road. Preliminary indications were that Davis' vehicle crossed into the path of the Ramsey vehicle, police said.
None of the injuries were initially believed to be life-threatening. No charges had been filed in connection to the incident as of Monday afternoon, said Phyllis Banks, spokeswoman with the Albany Police Department.
