BAINBRIDGE -- Herald No. 2 Bainbridge will be the host team for first Georgia-Florida Shootout, a two-day boys basketball classic tournament that pits four Georgia teams against four teams from the Panhandle.
Bainbridge, Miller County, Early County and Cairo represent Georgia while Blountstown, Malone, Graceville and Niceville represent Florida.
Miller County opens the classic at 3:30 p.m. today against Bountstown and Early County meets Malone at 4:30.
There is one girls non-tournament game today when Bainbridge's girls, ranked No. 2 in The Herald, faces early County at 6 p.m.
The Shootout continues Tuesday with Cairo and Niceville tipping off at 7:30 p.m. Bainbridge faces Graceville, a Florida Class AA power, at 9 p.m.
Tuesday's game begin at 4 p.m. with Early County meeting Blountstown, followed by a 5:30 p.m. game between Miller County and Graceville. Cairo meets Malone at 7 p.m. followed with the finale between Bainbridge and Niceville at 8:30 p.m.
