ALBANY -- "Hope" returns to the Good Life City this weekend as the American Cancer Society presents the Hope Ball Saturday.
With the theme Moonlight and Magnolias, the ball kicks off at 6:30 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn.
Tickets for the black-tie event are $100 per person, with proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society.
The evening begins with cocktails/a cash bar and a silent auction. At 7:30 p.m. dinner, served with wine, commences. Honorees and cancer survivors Wyatt Mitchell and Dr. Terry Kraus will also speak.
The live auction will start at 8:45 p.m. Thirty minutes later dancing to music provided by the Heart to Heart Band will start, and the silent auction will close.
Auction items span from a one-week trip to Turkey on a yacht to a family package to Wild Adventures theme park.
