ALBANY -- The Albany Museum of Art will present its second annual charity gala Saturday night.
With the theme "Queen of Hearts Ball," the black-tie event begins at 6:30 p.m. at the museum, located at 311 Meadowlark Drive.
Tickets are $125 per person.
Saturday's gala begins with cocktails, followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m. Entertainment will be provided by the Dirk Howell Band.
The evening will also include a raffle for a three-night Las Vegas get-away, with admission tickets also serving as raffle entries. Additional raffle tickets are available for $25 each.
Saturday's festivities will also include a live auction for such items as a four-night beach-front vacation, gifts from a jeweler, a framed lithograph by Arthur Berry, a one-week vacation on Amelia Island, an oil portrait by Derrick Taylor, a Mignon Faget bracelet and a private-chartered yacht cruise on the Mediterranean.
In addition, the evening will also launch the exhibition opening of Lamar Dodd's "A Life of Art."
