SGA star RB Knapp to sign scholarship Thursday

ALBANY — Southwest Georgia Academy running back Nile Knapp has found a home for his running back talents.

And a great one at that.

Knapp will sign with NAIA powerhouse Lindenwood, which lost in the national championship game to Sioux Falls last season, on Thursday at the school in a ceremony at 12:45 p.m., according to his father and former coach, Ted “Rock” Knapp.

“He basically had some D-II offers and a few 1-AA’s after him, but he just said ‘Dad, they’re playing for the national title almost every year — this is where I want to go,” Rock said.
