ALBANY -- Albany Police Department officers responded to at least 13 incidents Wednesday, according to reports. The incidents included:
-- Burglaries on the 1600 block of Colquitt Avenue and the 2400 block of Sylvester Road;
-- Domestic dispute (unfounded) on the 1100 block of Fifth Avenue;
-- Theft by taking of a Pekingese puppy on the 700 block of Corn Avenue;
-- Shoplifiting on the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive and the 2600 block of Dawson Road;
-- Disorderly conduct on the 2200 block of Wallington Drive;
-- Terroristic threats and acts on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;
-- Theft by taking of a motor vehicle on the 700 block of West Broad Avenue;
-- Assault (domestic violence) on the 1000 block of Netherland Lane.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least 25 calls and five incidents Wednesday, according to reports.
Police responded to incidents including:
-- Traffic accident on the 2500 block of Gillionville Road;
-- Traffic accident and arrest on D.U.I. charges at the intersection of Brown Street and Banks Avenue;
-- Traffic arrest for driving on a suspended-for-support obligation on the 3200 block of Sylvester Road;
-- Theft of a vehicle tag on the 1700 block Moultrie Road;
-- Wanted person (probation violation) on the 2100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Emergency Medical Services responded to 46 calls over the weekend. There were 29 medical calls, 13 trauma calls and four other calls. Medical calls included five chest pains, four respiratory problems, one person who fainted, one mental health, one altered mental status, two diabetic complaints, three seizures, one cardiac arrest, two miscellaneous pain calls, two possible strokes and 11 various medical calls. Trauma calls included five vehicle crash injuries, three falls, two lacerations and three fights. Other calls are typically standby for other units and patient transport.
