Weather has postponed today's game between the Peach County girls at Westover until 5 p.m. Monday at Westover. The winner of this game hosts the overall region tournament.
The play-in games to that tournament, originally scheduled for Monday, will hopefully be played Monday as well, according to Dougherty County athletic director Johnny Seabrooks. Then, the rest of the tournament will be held at Crisp County on Tuesday, followed by the semifinal and final rounds held Friday and Saturday at either Westover or Peach County.
Also, today's GISA Region 3-AAA basketball tourney will continue at Southland Academy instead of Georgia Southwestern. The consolation games, starting with the girls, begin at 2 p.m. Then, the girls title game begins at 5 p.m., followed by the boys. Both championship games are between Deerfield-Windsor and Westfield.
