The Bainbridge High School baseball team started its season in style as Tyler Hutchins and Thomas Timmons threw a combined no-hitter in a 3-1 win against Libert County on Monday.
"I think it's a big confidence boost," Bainbridge coach Scott Miller said. "We didn't swing the bat really well but our pitching and defense were really solid."
Timmons entered the game in the fourth inning in relief.
Sutton Reese had an RBI single and then scored the other two runs via a Steven Lightfoot RBI single and when Drew Kelley drew a bases-loaded walk.
