2009 All-Area Volleyball Team

Kelsey Spenser, Sherwood, Jr.

STATS: Spenser was a middle blocker for the Lady Eagles' strong team, averaging 3.3 digs and 2.8 kills a game


Allison O'Connor, Sherwood, Jr.

STATS: The Lady Eagles' top setter, averaging 3.9 assists and 2.1 aces a game.


Marly Eubanks, Sherwood, Jr.

STATS: Played the "libero" position, meaning she could play any spot on the floor. Eubanks averaged 4.2 digs a game.


DaQuenna Moore, Lee County, So.

STATS: Led local power Lady Trojans with 30 blocks, 103 kills and also recorded 12 aces. Moore was a key cog in the team's run to the GHSA Class AAAA state playoffs.


Felicia Moore, Lee County, Jr.

STATS: Led the Lady Trojans with 63 digs, but was most crucial in setup plays, recording a staggering 174 assists. Moore also led team with 16 aces and added 12 kills.
