Audubon Society, Flint RiverQuarium to hold program

ALBANY -- The Albany Audubon Society and the Flint RiverQuarium will come together this week for the joint presentation, "How to Listen to a River ... How to Make a Difference in Your Community."

The free event begins at 7 p.m. Thursday at the RiverQuarium's Imagination Theater.

The presentation will be given by Gordon Rogers, the new executive director of Flint Riverkeeper.

"Rogers will share his experiences in environmental management and activism, based on his career in research and his new mission at Flint Riverkeeper," a news release states.
