ALBANY -- Once again, the Good Life City will pay tribute to the memory of Civil Rights Leader Martin Luther King Jr. during the 2010 King Day Celebration Monday.
The event will kick off at 5:30 p.m. at the Albany Civic Center, with seating starting at 5 p.m.
Tickets, $20, include dinner and are now available.
"All citizens are invited to enjoy the event for free in the balcony seats," a news release states.
With the theme, "Keeping the Faith in the Fight," Monday's celebration will feature guest speaker Michael Thurmond, Georgia Department of Labor commissioner.
"This year's King Day Celebration celebrates the integral role of the church and church leaders in the civil rights movement," states a news release.
